On the morning of 27th June 2024, during his visit to China, Vietnamese Prime Minister Mr Ph?m Minh Chính received Chairman Yan Shengjun in Beijing.
Prime Minister Ph?m Minh Chính highly affirmed the positive contribution made by CNTY in the field of environmental protection in Vietnam. He said that sustainable development is the general direction of Vietnam's economic and social development, and the Vietnamese government is very supportive of CNTY to further expand its successful experience in the field of waste incineration. At the same time, Vietnam is full of confidence in developing renewable energy, and CNTY can deepen the strategic layout in Vietnam and work together with Vietnam to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Vietnam is in the process of rapid development, with better investment environment and commercial conditions. He also said that the relevant ministries of the Vietnamese government will give support for CNTY to land more projects in Vietnam.
Chairman Yan expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Ph?m Minh Chính for taking time to receive him. He said that CNTY has been cultivating in Vietnam for many years, and the Hanoi WtE project that treats 4,000 tonnes of waste per day enjoys advanced technology, unprecedented treating capacity and excellent operation. CNTY is willing to increase the subsequent investment in environment industry in Vietnam, expand the cooperation in new energy industry, and bring CNTY's technological, capital and management strengths to the green development of Vietnam. Meanwhile, CNTY also hopes to actively undertake more social responsibilities and continue to make contributions to Vietnam's economic and social development.
In recent years, CNTY has actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative, resolutely implemented the requirements of building a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, and actively participated in the trend of Vietnam's economic and social development. CNTY will deepen the strategic layout of its investment in Vietnam on the basis of constructing and operating existing projects, and continue to push up the company's green and sustainable development in Vietnam.
